SPA SFE INDUSTRY ALGERIA’s “New-Energy Transition Strategy” is built on one core mission: transfer the full battery value chain to Algeria and co-create a green, self-sustaining future.

SFE, in partnership with GAC Group and several leading Chinese battery-solution providers, is fully capable of delivering an advanced, end-to-end battery value-chain to Algeria. The country will be able to mine locally, process locally, produce cells locally and assemble packs locally, then recycle and remanufacture every retired battery, creating a truly green, closed-loop system from mine to module.

Our roadmap is three-fold:

1. Start with production — battery manufacturing lines begin operating now;

2. Move upstream — add mineral processing and precursor plants in parallel;

3. Close the circle — build recycling and regeneration centers to keep every kWh in circulation.

The path is complex, but we are ready. With twenty years of China’s industrial experience, we will work hand-in-hand with Algerian government, industry and universities to take the first decisive step toward truly sustainable industry — and let green energy take root at the foot of the Sahara.

Battery Recycling Plan

Disassembly, crushing and powdering, hydrometallurgical regeneration and purification, and solid-phase repair are the three core production modules. We aim to create an integrated recycling and regeneration factory that transforms used power batteries into high-quality battery raw materials. This process will stably produce battery black powder, lithium carbonate, iron phosphate, recycled copper, aluminum, iron powder, and graphite intermediates.
